Version 2.68 release


Greetings.

I have uploaded the latest version of the Dual Wield plugin, version 2.68 with the following fixes:

  • (Revision A - April 29, 2020 5:34pm GMT) Corrected an issue where a console.log command was outputting which hand was being swung during an action sequence to the console.
  • battler.isDualWield() will no longer return false in battle if the actor is dual wield type, but currently wielding a shield in their offhand.
    • This will correct incompatibility issues with plugins that allowed the player to change equipment during battle, as if a dual wield actor was wearing a shield, they would be unable to equip a weapon in their offhand slot until the shield had been removed.
  • Multi-hit skills that are locked to either the main or offhand will now use the correct weapon traits for the weapon they are locked to for all of their hits.
    • Previously, only the first hit would use the correct weapon traits, any extra hits would use the traits (hit/crit, etc) of the weapon in the opposite hand.
    • This applies both to skills that were note tagged specifically to be locked to the main or offhand, or skills that were automatically locked to the main or offhand because of a required wtype.
  • Multi-hit skills that are locked to either the main or offhand weapon, which have the effect to apply state 'Normal Attack: XX%', will now only apply states from the locked weapon.
    • Previously, only the first hit would apply states from the correct weapon, and all subsequent hits would apply any states from the weapon in the opposite hand.
    • Again, this happened to skills that had been manually locked to the main or offhand via note tag, or skills that were automatically locked to one hand or the other because of require wtypes.
