Version 2.75 Minor Bugfix
Greetings everyone.
I have uploaded version 2.75 of the Dual Wield plugin which corrected the following bug, reported by user Morn Yvri Winters:
- Dual Wield type actors using a two handed weapon, or using a shield in their offhand should no longer have a second attack with no weapon image, no animation, and 0% accuracy.
This issue stemmed from a flipped boolean check, namely that I was checking for the new 'Equip Mode Only' plugin parameter in battle, but accidentally had the check backwards, which caused a certain function that would tell the engine if an actor was currently dual wielding that they were actually dual wielding when they were not using a valid weapon in their offhand. This caused the extra attack, which, because the actor has no weapon in his offhand, has no param boosts from him main hand, which meant the accuracy of the attack was going to be very low, and almost always miss.
This bug was introduced with the introduction of that new plugin parameter in version 2.74, but most people wouldn't have noticed it unless they had dual wield actors who were also using shields or two handed weapons.
