Crafting System Update v1.09


Good news everyone! A diligent user of the crafting system plugin has discovered that it didn't technically support independent items (from YEP_ItemCore) in the correct way. I have updated the plugin to v1.09 with the following changes:

  • If your project has independent items enabled, recipes that contain independent items (not armor or weapons) will now function correctly. Independent weapons and armor were already supported, so there has been no change made to them.
  • Independent items are now prohibited from being selected multiple times in the item list window, just like normal items, they will be greyed out when an item that has the same base item Id is already selected.
  • Quantities of independent items can be adjusted in the same way that non-independent items can be, by pressing the right arrow key on a selected item in the ingredient list window.
  • You still may not have multiple quantities of the same base weapon or armor selected in the ingredient list.

I have attached three widescreen screenshots to demonstrate. In the first, you can see there are three lettuce items in the item list window, all greyed out because one is already in slot 1. The second image shows that the quantity has been increased to 3, as there are three lettuces available. The third screenshot shows that the system is able to properly detect that those independent lettuce items are actually the lettuce base item that the recipe is looking for, and displays that the result will be a salad.


Note: I plan to add a feature soon which will allow independent ingredients to modify the result item. This could be coming out soon, I'll keep you posted.
