Version 1.01 Minor Update


Greetings all. 24 hours and already my first update. Magical isn't it?

I have updated Food Buffs to version 1.01 with the following changes:

  • Added an alias to Game_Actor.prototype.removeState() which clears any remaining battle durations from food buffs when the state is removed via any method other than expiring battle duration.
    • This corrects an issue where a state that had been removed via another method, like expiring turn durations, or full healing, or death, might prevent the re-application of the same buff if attempted to re-apply it again later.
  • Added a section in the help documentation to better explain how to grab a list of all of an actors favorite food items, for use in a custom HUD or a menu, or whatever you can use it for :)

The first bugfix actually wasn't reported to me at all, but I suddenly realized the implication when user StorytellerHero asked a question about states that have expiration triggers on the main page. I'd realized that if you were using the plugin parameters where death and/or full healing would remove food buffs, those buffs would be unable to be applied again if the buffs had any battle durations remaining when they had been removed. So I've corrected this, hopefully before anyone noticed the problem :)
